Had To Get A New Phone : First Thoughts

So I had to get a new phone this Friday. It was definitely not expected but my phone screen broke while I was at work and I didn't have time to wait for an order and I was going to need a new phone anyway so the timing was bad. It was between the Galaxy S5 or some other LG phone I can't think of it's name but it comes in gold (champagne) and gray(dark silver). I decided to go with the G Flex2 because I was more aesthetically drawn to it in both good and bad ways b/c I'm a bit OCD oh and calling the champagne color gold turned me off b/c I'm not a fan of gold (yes, I know I'm picky), I have know idea whether there's just a G Flex but I'd assume so. I can exchange the phone for just a restocking fee within 14 days, if I do I'd get the other LG phone but I doubt I'll switch. I've had all LG phones apart from my last phone so I'm pretty sure I can rely on this phone, I'm a bit out of practice with LG and the layouts have changed over the years but I'm too worried about that. There are a few things that bother me but I think I'll survive.

So this is my old phone, it's actually the replacement but anyway this is the Samsung Galaxy S3 which I was fond of and had no plans to get the S5 unless necessary. Alas I did end up needing a new phone I dropped my phone and a right side cracked and the screen would no longer work. I just want to put it out there that I've never broken or crack a phone before this one, just saying.

I love the color it shines orangeish when you wave it in the light and yes, strangely the power and volume buttons are on the back. I'm getting pretty used to it, it's not as much of a hassle as I thought it would be, I haven't sat on it in my back pocket yet though but I doubt it'll be a problem. I really like the fit of it the curve is actually less annoying than I anticipated and pretty comfy in my hand although a bit wide for my thumb when texting.

I'll do a what's on my phone and tell you guys about what bothers me after I've had it for awhile longer but it's working pretty well for me at the moment. Let me know what you think about this phone or other LG phones and the Galaxy phones. #teamandroid hahaha

  1. Wow! Your new phone definitely looks fancier than the previous one. Of course, the look should be the least of your worries, when you decide to purchase a phone, so I hope it outshines your previous phone in terms of software capabilities as well. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Have a nice day!

  3. Too bad your old phone got broken, but at least you have a new one now. It looks great and classy. I hope that it will maintain its good condition for a long time. I'm looking forward to you sharing your experience with that new phone of yours. :)
